• Conduct and analyze web research into products, technologies, companies • Build a communication pipeline between Operations, Revenue, our Media Personality, and Editorial • Write publishable first drafts of explainer, top product comparisons, and other article types or work equivalent • Grasp and explain complex concepts clearly and authoritatively • Consistently meet deadlines with articles of the highest quality • Demonstrate expertise in the specified field • Learn and employ our product-scoring rubric to inform “top product” articles and keyword research • Clearly articulate the best answer to readers’ questions with the guidance of the editor • Create copy that can be used in supplemental content elements • Follow SEO team guidance and on-page SEO best practices to strengthen article rankings • Understand how each piece of content fits within the buyer journey • Work closely with our WordPress Production Assistant, Graphic Designers, or other available resources when necessary • Analyze performance data related to previously written content • Suggest elements in their content and use of call out boxes, 10x graphics, and lead magnets

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience writing about the channel • Previous data-specific research and writing experience and can share samples of your work, or work experience in a related field or environment • Strong research skills and the ability to add contextual analysis to research • Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail • Excellent writing skills • Highly collaborative and organized • Love finding ways to keep operations efficient while not letting quality suffer • Self-motivated and able to manage your time with little oversight • Open to feedback and strive to learn something new every day • Passionate about delivering the best answers to people’s questions • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
