Description

• Be part of a team supporting FEMA in designing and implementing digital service solutions • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather user insights • Design lo-fi mockups and hi-fi prototypes using Figma • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers • Communicate research findings and recommendations • Contribute to the development of HCD research methodologies • Stay updated on human-centered design trends • Previous experience supporting a federal agency would be a bonus

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in user experience and research, or related field • 3+ years of experience in user experience work including research and usability testing • Strong understanding of designing for government and large-scale organizations • Ability to manage and execute research projects • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and driving design with research findings • Proficiency in research tools and software for data collection and analysis
