Description

• Develop a deep understanding of the business to enable your role and the entire People & Culture team to become strategic partners to drive and exceed FreedomCare’s goals • Create and execute FreedomCare’s People & Culture vision and strategy to meet the needs of our growing organization. Ensure our P&C infrastructure, team, and partnerships are built to scale to support nationwide expansion and growth to a base of 1000+ employees over the next 3-5 years • Leverage “next in class” people practices tailored to our unique culture and requirements • Build and lead a high-performing team that embodies and champions FreedomCare values • Serve as a trusted advisor to the People & Culture Directors, fostering a collaborative environment and strategic direction that enables them to excel in their respective domains and contribute to the broader goals of the organization • Develop and manage budget for People & Culture function • Oversee development of metrics and dashboard to show the team’s impact, driving continuous improvement and program refinement • Be a champion of our mission and an ambassador to our values, fostering employee engagement by connecting them with our larger purpose of changing the world with the work that we do • Build strong relationships with our leadership team to clearly understand their goals, needs and unique challenges related to employees within their department, and develop strategies that are focused on developing the team as both individuals and leaders • Partner to CEO and Senior Leadership Team in determining business goals, growth plans, company communications, alignment on operational philosophies, develop our people, and create an amazing culture • Coach members of our senior leadership team and high potential leaders individually with an approach that honors the whole person, while also holding the larger agenda of improving their performance and reaching the larger goals of our business • Manage employee relations issues through coaching, promoting effective communication and framing them as opportunities to learn and grow

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant Master’s degree a plus • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience; experience in talent acquisition, employee retention and development strategies • Experience with start-up or young companies, taking them to scale demonstrating the ability to scale initiatives and adapting to evolving priorities • Experience coaching and/or counseling within an organization, including the senior leaders within the organization • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and programs that align with organizational objectives and create a positive employee experience • Proven success in creating HR programs that foster a culture of open communication and trust • Ability to effectively lead and influence other senior HR leaders, creating collaboration, alignment and a shared commitment to organizational goals and values • Ability to replicate the same excitement the CEO created in the early days of Freedom Care through his clear vision, mission and values within a rapidly scaling organization • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with changing priorities • Strong project management skills - organized, detail oriented, execution focused • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to adapt to a less formal environment; highly developed ability to listen powerfully and deeply • Flexible leader - you can operate at a highly strategic level, but can also deep dive into tactical execution as needed • Proven ability to quantify the business value of a strategic People & Culture Team in past roles; a main component of this role is building buy-in and even champions for partnering with the People & Culture Team, always in service of employees and business needs • PHR or SPHR highly preferred

Benefits

• At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $245,000 and $265,000 per year at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
