Description
• Work with teams across Chime Engineering to support Ruby-related upgrades • Create and maintain tooling that supports common Ruby processes across Chime • Own the release process and roadmap for the main common Ruby gem • Help with ongoing work to make performance improvements easier • Help with onboarding for Ruby developers • Help creating ongoing Ruby learning opportunities that bridge the gap between onboarding and Chime practice
Requirements
• Significant experience in Ruby and Rails, and more to the point, you are enthusiastic about learning and teaching Ruby tools • Experience teaching and mentoring • Some presence in the external Ruby community is a plus • Knowledge of related technologies in use at Chime, including Google Protobufs, Twirp, MySQL and PostgreSQL is a plus.
